- The District received $2,081,214.00 from the state of California
- The balance of the loan will be paid with:
- $20,812.00 of interest from the money received from the loan over six month
- $101,991.21 in developer fees
If the district had votred no to the loan in December and had waited until June to take the loan the District would have saved itself over $100,000.
Here is a list of items the district has spent on during this school year that one could categorize as odd, especially in light of the consessions it is asking its employees:
· $48,000 severance for Gemma
· $21,000 for superintendent search
· $15,000 Total schools solutions
· $24,000 for staff development training (at $2,000 a day!)
· $13,000 for a couple months of Interim superintendent
· $101,991.21 loan costs
· $330,000 for A Street Project (that ended up going directly into a facilities upgrade fund)
